We must enter continually more deeply into the Divine Being by means of recollection. ‘I press on’ cried St Paul (Phil. 3:14). Thus, every day we must go down deeper along the path of the abyss that is God, letting ourselves slide down the slope in a confidence that is full of love.

The Lord said to me, don't be afraid that My mercy will fail you.

I have found heaven on earth, since heaven is God, and God is in my soul. My mission in heaven will be to draw souls, helping them to go out of themselves to cling to God, with a spontaneous, love-filled action, and to keep them in that great interior silence which enables God to make his mark on them, to transform them into himself.

O true God and my Lord! It is a great consolation for the soul wearied by the loneliness of being separated from You to see that You are everywhere.

In these aridities the soul practices corporally and spiritually all the virtues, theological as well as cardinal and moral.

Isn't love shown in sacrifice? When I think about Jesus' love, then everything I can offer him seems to me so little.

I invited the whole earth to bless you, to serve you. Forever and always, never to end! I invited the entire sea to bless you, to serve you. Forever and always, never to end! I called him, invited ungrateful man, to bless you, to serve you, to praise and to love you, forever and always, never to end.

It's true that we cannot live without faults, but at least there should be some change so that they don't take root. If they take root, they will be harder to eradicate and even many others could arise from them.

All of this darkness signifies the obscurity of faith with which the divinity is clothed while communicating itself to the soul.

The Lord asks of us only two things: love of His Majesty and love of our neighbor. These are what we must work for. By observing them with perfection, we do His will and so will be united with Him.

...It is for us to console Our Lord, and not for Him to be always consoling us. His Heart is so tender that if you cry He will dry your tears; but thereafter He will go away sad, since you did not suffer Him to repose tranquilly within you. Our Lord loves the glad of heart, the children that greet Him with a smile. When will you learn to hide your troubles from Him, or to tell Him gaily that you are happy to suffer for Him?

Just as a mother is proud of her children so we shall be proud of one another without the least trace of jealousy.
