God gives me courage in proportion to my sufferings. I feel at this moment I couldn’t suffer any more, but I’m not afraid since if they increase, He will increase my courage at the same time.

Believe that He loves you. He wants to help you Himself in the struggles you must undergo. Believe in His Love. His exceeding love.

Beg our Lord to grant you perfect love of neighbor and leave the rest to Him.

Devotion to Jesus Eucharistic will be, and is for me the source of patience, of perseverance, of refuge, of consolation. It is literally the very source of my life. Without this mystery of the Savior's love left us in the Church, I would have been lost long ago.

..my prayer is quite powerless, but I possess within me the Holy One of God, the Great Supplicant, and that is the prayer I am offering...

Each incident, each event, each suffering, as well as each joy, is a sacrament which gives God to it; so it no longer makes a distinction between these things; it surmounts them, goes beyond them to rest in its Master, above all things.

The devil does a great deal to incapacitate us when he sees a little fear.

Now I ask You, Lord, not to abandon me at any time in my recollection, for I am a squanderer of my soul.

In stumbling, in falling with Christ, do not withdraw from the cross or abandon it. Consider carefully the fatigue with which He walks and how much greater His trials are than those trials you suffer, however great you may want to paint them and no matter how much you grieve over them.

I cannot understand how humility exists, or can exist, without love, or love without humility, and it is impossible for these two virtues to exist save where there is great detachment from all created things.

Do not imagine that love can be found without suffering, for we carry with us our human nature; and yet, what a source of merit it is!

Jesus, help me to simplify my life by learning what you want me to be and becoming that person.
