I assure you that the good Lord is much kinder than you can imagine.

Almighty Father, I place the Precious Blood of Jesus before my lips before I pray, that my prayers may be purified before they ascend to Your divine altar.

“What is grace” I asked God. And He said, “All that happens.” Then He added, when I looked perplexed,“Could not lovers say that every moment in their Beloved’s arms was grace? Existence is my arms, though I well understand how one can turn away from me until the heart has wisdom.”

I want to work for the glory of God, and for that I must be wholly filled with Him.  Then I will be all powerful: one look, one desire will become an irresistible prayer that can obtain everything.

It is right that the soul, as far as it is able, should work to purify itself, that it may merit that God take it into His Divine care and heal it of those imperfections before which it is helpless.

Do you think it possible that anyone who really and truly loves God can love vanities, riches, worldly pleasures or honours? Can he engage in strife or feel envy? No; for his only desire is to please the Beloved.

If you knew how He loves you, how at each passing moment He wants to give Himself to you more!

The soul which has no other aim than the perfect observance of the law of God and the carrying of the cross of Christ will be a true ark, containing the true manna which is God.

In heaven we will be surprised to see how different His judgment is from what we can understand here below. May He be praised forever.

When you are burdened you are close to God, your strength, who abides with the afflicted. When you are relieved of the burden you are close to yourself, your own weakness; for virtue and strength of soul grow and are confirmed in the trials of patience.

Will we ever understand how much we are loved?

Beg our Lord to grant you perfect love of neighbor and leave the rest to Him.
