I know quite well all you are suffering. I know your anguish, and I share it. Oh! if I could but impart to you the peace which Jesus has put into my soul amid my most bitter tears. Be comforted - all passes away.

"Be holy for I am holy!" It seems to me that this is the very same wish expressed om the day of creation when God said: "Let us make man in Our image and likeliness." It is always the desire of the creator to identify and associate His creature with Himself!

Where, my Lord, did I think I could find a remedy save in You? What folly; to flee from the light so as to be always stumbling!

He does not call those who are worthy but those whom He pleases.

To have courage for whatever comes in life – everything lies in that.

Or look upon Him bending under the weight of the Cross and not even allowed to take breath: He will look upon you with His lovely and compassionate eyes, full of tears, and in comforting your grief will forget His own because you are bearing Him company in order to comfort Him and turning your head to look upon Him.

You will be immediately told that speaking with... (a friend) is unnecessary, that it is enough to have God. But a good means to having God is to speak with His friends.

Always believe in Love. If you have to suffer, think that you are even more loved, and always sing in thanksgiving. He is so jealous for the beauty of your soul.... That is all He has in view.

Let us desire and be occupied in prayer not for the sake of our enjoyment but as as to have the strength to serve.

Faith is comparable to the feet by which one journeys to God, and love is like one's guide.

Indeed, I believe that in each smallest creature He has made, though it be but a tiny ant, there are more wonders than can be comprehended.

Be joyful and gladdened in your interior recollection with Him, for you have Him so close to you. Desire Him there, adore Him there.
