Do not worry...think of the God who is dwelling within you.

It is not because I am good that our Lord granted me these favors, but that His goodness might be made manifest.
Although I was so unworthy of grace, this Adorable Master sought me out that even when I was least occupied with the thought of Him, in order that I might not be lost, and that His kindness might cause admiration.

It is the nature of perfect love to seek or accept nothing for itself, to attribute nothing to itself, but to refer all to the Beloved. If this be true of earthly love, how much more so of the love of God...

No love is possible without the cross...and it is through crosses that love becomes fruitful, om condition that they be borne in a spirit of love, for without this spirit everything is sterile.

See that you are not suddenly saddened by the adversities of this world, for you do not know the good they bring, being ordained in the judgments of God for the everlasting joy of the elect.

There is a vocation to suffer with Christ and thereby to cooperate in His redemptive work. If we are united to the Lord, we are members of the Mystical Body of Christ; Christ continues to live and to suffer in His members and the suffering borne in union with His is His suffering, integrated and made fruitful in His great redemptive work.

It is through this Lord of ours that all blessings come. He will show us the way.

We must let ourselves be rooted in Christ. How? By never ceasing to dwell, whatever happens, with Him who dwells in us and is Love. He thirsts to associate us to all He is; to transform us in Him.

Make sacrifices, it is absolutely necessary that you put mortification into your life. When one wishes to be master of himself, master of his body and sensory faculties, these must be mortified.

It is certain that the love of God does not consist in experiencing sweetness or tenderness of heart but in truly serving God in Justice, strength and humility.

To forget oneself, to be delivered from all one's own desires and pretensions, to open one's heart to all the pressing needs of others, this is possible only through daily intimacy with Our Lord in the tabernacle.

Perseverance is required at first inn making a habit of converse with God and of referring all we do to Him, but after a little His love moves us to it without any difficulty.
