Mary was born after the life of grace, having given all her heart and soul, to be the Mother of God. From this comes a close union between her and us, she loves us, guides us, and is ever willing to give us what we should be.

Until slumber comes to the appetites through the mortification of sensuality, and until this very sensuality is stilled in such a way that the appetites do not war against the spirit, the soul will not walk out to genuine freedom, to the enjoyment of union with its Beloved.

O my Jesus! You never ask what is impossible; You know better than I how frail and imperfect I am; You know that I shall never love my Sisters as You have loved them, unless You love them Yourself within me, my dearest Master.

Don’t fear purgatory because of the suffering endured there, but desire to avoid it in order to please the good God, who imposes this purification with such reluctance. Since you seek to please him in everything, if you trust unshakably that he purifies you at every moment in his love and leaves no trace of sin in you, you can be quite sure that you won’t go to purgatory.

In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone.

As soon as you try to please Him in everything and have an unshakable trust He purifies you every moment in His love and He lets no sin remain.

It is love alone that gives worth to all things.

I am happy and shall never cease to be so because I belong to my God. At every moment I find in him my heaven and an eternal and immutable love. I don't desire anything but him and this love grows in my soul inasmuch I see myself introduced in the bosom of his divine love and adorable perfections.

And you, O Father, bend down towards your poor little creature. Cover her with your shadow, see in her only your beloved son in who you are well pleased.

Do not fear to tell Jesus that you love him, even though you may not feel that love. In this way you will compel Him to come to your aid, and to carry you like a little child who is too weak to walk.

If we live and move in God, it does not seem to me that His company and His love can hinder us from moving and working externally.

If God is in us, and if God is love, it is inevitable that we be brothers; because love of our neighbor is the measure of our love for God.
