Mary was born after the life of grace, having given all her heart and soul, to be the Mother of God. From this comes a close union between her and us, she loves us, guides us, and is ever willing to give us what we should be.

Now, Lord, you have shown my soul your design of love. You still want to detach me, purify me, shape me. You want to transform me! Here I am, here I am, my Love! I am yours, your victim. In fact God seems to be wholly occupied with overwhelming the soul with caresses and marks of affection like a mother who brings up her child and feeds it with her own milk.

Ask the Most Holy Virgin to be your guide, to be your star, the lamp that shines in the midst of the darkness of your life.
