Today I felt annihilated, but I held my crucifix tightly and I only told Him: "I love You."

That gaze of the soul at its Bridegroom inflames it with love. You can always look at Him. That sight of Jesus will bring you peace, if you are disturbed or exalted. It will fortify you, if you are cast down; it will bring you recollection, if you are dissipated.

I'd like to make souls understand that the Eucharist is heaven, given because "heaven is only a tabernacle without doors, a Eucharist without veils, a communion without end.

Just as the angels in heaven incessantly sing His praises, so does a Carmelite echo those praises here on earth, whether near to the tabernacle where God who is Love lives imprisoned, or in the intimate depths of her soul's heaven, where faith tells her God dwells. Our vocation's objective is love, the greatest thing a human heart can possess.

When God's love takes possession of a heart, it transforms it, it makes human love divine, so to speak.

God thirsts for the love of His creatures. God Himself is our beggar. Let's give ourselves to Him. Let's not be stingy, because God is entirely goodness and generosity towards us.

Let’s concern ourselves with our neighbor and with serving him, even though it may be repugnant to do so. In this way we’ll make sure that the throne of our heart is occupied by God our creator.

When you experience that interior cry of egotism, direct your mind and gaze to Jesus. Will you not have the strength to conquer this fault for love of Him?
