When you are suffering or when you are feeling lonely...then take comfort in the fact that Jesus is with you and sees you suffering.

Let's love Jesus who has loved us so much. With this thought let's come frequently before His tabernacle each day. He is always looking at us and desiring that we love Him. He lives there more poorly than He did when in Bethlehem, more helpless than when He was a child. He can do nothing for Himself, and yet He is Life itself.

Do all for love of Him. Don't seek the approval of creatures. They are so mistaken in their judgments. In the meantime, at every moment God understands you as though you were the only creature in existence.

In order to become a temple of the Lord in which He will be pleased to dwell it is necessary to put into practice His teaching and virtues, and the first of these is purity.

Each day Jesus nourishes me with His adorable Body and, together with this delicate food, I hear a sweet and soft voice like the harmonious echoes of the angels of heaven. This a the voice that guides me, that loosens the sails of the ship of my soul. And in my pains, in my temptations, He is my Consoler, He is my Captain.

I'd like to make souls understand that the Eucharist is heaven, given because "heaven is only a tabernacle without doors, a Eucharist without veils, a communion without end.

Let us live on the Cross. The Cross is the denial of our will. Heaven is on the Cross because Jesus is there.

The desire to stand out or excel is natural to a creature. But if we would reflect on it, what purpose do those social triumphs serve? They disappear between night and morning. ...the only thing that is worthwhile here on earth is whatever brings us closer to God.

When God's love takes possession of a heart, it transforms it, it makes human love divine, so to speak.

That gaze of the soul at its Bridegroom inflames it with love. You can always look at Him. That sight of Jesus will bring you peace, if you are disturbed or exalted. It will fortify you, if you are cast down; it will bring you recollection, if you are dissipated.

How your life would be transformed if you were frequently with Jesus as with a friend! Do you perchance think that Jesus will not receive you as such? If you think such a thing, you would demonstrate that you do not know Him. He is all tenderness, all love for His sinful creatures.

Don't be terrified by the new life that is opening up to you, for being a child of Mary, she will cover you with her mantle.
