If He is my Father, and knows the present, the past and the future, why shall I not abandon myself to Him with the utmost confidence?

If you had left us a relic of Yourself it would be a sign of love worthy of our veneration, but you yourself remain knowing that you would be the object of profanation, sacrilege and ingratitude, abandoned. Are you Lord, mad with love?

When I think that previously I was envious of Mary Magdalene for having had Jesus in her home so many times, for having listened to Him, I become ashamed; for He did not abandon our earth. He remains in the tabernacle. There I look at Him in faith and listen to Him.

The soul who places her hope in God has nothing to fear, because He will overcome all her obstacles and all her difficulties.

It matters not whether You give me the abandonment of Calvary or the joys of Nazareth. I only want to see You contented.

When you're suffering, look at Jesus. He is loving you with tenderness, because you are participating in his cross, in the cross He carried in His most divine Heart from Bethlehem to Calvary. Place yourself and everything around you in that Heart of Jesus. Lie abandoned to His holy Will. From that abandonment, oneness with God will be born.
