Let’s concern ourselves with our neighbor and with serving him, even though it may be repugnant to do so. In this way we’ll make sure that the throne of our heart is occupied by God our creator.

I wish...I could help you find consolation near the Cross. In its shadow, every kind of bitterness fades. No one has suffered like Jesus has and, from His cross, He teaches us to bear with every pain in silence and in resignation. From the cross and with open arms He invites us saying; "Come to me all you who are burdened under the weight of suffering and I will give you rest."

When I think that previously I was envious of Mary Magdalene for having had Jesus in her home so many times, for having listened to Him, I become ashamed; for He did not abandon our earth. He remains in the tabernacle. There I look at Him in faith and listen to Him.

Between Jesus and certain souls there exists a love so great that the soul always lives in the presence of the Beloved.  Such a soul will not allow anything created to interfere with this, and that is why this soul seeks solitude.

Sacrifice and renunciation of our will are needed to come to complete union with Our Lord.

My prayer almost always consists of an intimate conversation with Our Lord. I imagine that like Magdalene I am at His feet, listening to Him. He tells me what I must do to please Him.

My Jesus, pardon me. I am so proud that I do not know how to accept with humility the slightest humiliation. Dear Jesus, teach me humility and send me humiliations, even though I am unworthy of them.

I can say that my life is a continuous prayer, for everything I do I do it out out of love for my Jesus.

To live hidden in Christ it is necessary to die to self.

We are miserable and fall at every step. We are children who don't even know how to talk. Why doesn't Jesus become angry with our falls that are caused by our ignorance and our weakness? Never allow discouragement to enter your heart.

If you don't overcome your sensitivity, you will make your whole life bitter. You must not harbor in your heart those sentiments of mistrust. Do you believe that, because people go contrary to you and do not please you, they don't love you?

Today I felt annihilated, but I held my crucifix tightly and I only told Him: "I love You."
